The setting for this lovely festival on Palace Green, right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Durham Cathedral makes this a rather special occasion for producers and punters alike. There's mulled wine and mince pies to get you into the Xmas spirit but, be warned, the Craft & Producers' Marquee, festive outdoor market in the city's Market Place, children's lantern parade and carol services may simply tip you over the edge!
