The start of the Xmas frenzy and what a way to kick off proceedings! Get yourself organised this Xmas and start the countdown by treating friends and family to all the presents they could wish for - and maybe the odd one for yourself! From home decor, Xmas decorations, glassware, jewellery, clothes, books, paintings and, our favourite, not one but two food emporiums! Along with the Marquee, you'll actually find us in the Food Hall (just outside the Marquee) and there'll be booze, cheese, Xmas cakes etc etc and of course, our new Xmas chocolate bars...For early bird tickets, available early Sept, click here.

We love Forage! Ran by artist Ellie Davison-Archer and her fellow creative, Steven Eyles, the Forage fandangoes are always a creative shot in the arm. Lovely makers including gorgeous print makers and artists, ceramics, wellness and home gifts, delicious food and  it's all set in Rigg & Furrow artisan brewery so you can get a pint to boot! Tickets are £2 and available from their website or on the door - and TOTALLY worth it!

Sat & Sun: 12 noon - 5pm

Oh my - this is a humdinger of a fair! This gorgeous and ginormous farmshop, finalist in the Farm Retail Association Awards, gets even bigger come November with all manner of makers who are simply there to serve you! Lovely gifts, great range of food and drink and all of their regular suppliers, this event is set over 4 days, has loads of parking and plenty of entertainment for the kids!

Thurs-Sun - times tbc. 

This long-standing and lovely event has over 100 stalls featuring everything from hats, wood carvings, antiques, gorgeous grub, jewellery and moi! Set in the Wentworth Leisure Centre, it's indoors, has loads of parking and the kids can go for a swim while you have a mooch! Bliss!

Sat & Sun: 10am-4pm

Set in a real castle - what's not to love!? A cornucopia of crafters, artists, food producers and jewellery makers, this event is sure to get you in the spirit of Xmas! Tickets are available on the door or from their website and all proceeds help to keep this lovely castle going!

Fri & Sat: 10am-5pm, Sun: 12 Noon-5pm.

The setting for this lovely festival on Palace Green, right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Durham Cathedral makes this a rather special occasion for producers and punters alike. There's mulled wine and mince pies to get you into the Xmas spirit but, be warned, the Craft & Producers' Marquee, festive outdoor market in the city's Market Place, children's lantern parade and carol services may simply tip you over the edge! But what a way to go...
